Just released in time for Xmas, The Hood Pro is designed to give the Sony EX-1 a similar viewfinder as the Sony EX-3.
The hood attaches to the camcorder’s flip-out LCD screen with elastic and Velcro. A ‘Sock Loupe’ then fits over the hood. Focus is achieved by positioning the ‘Sock Loupe’ on the hood.

European company BeBob have introduced a ‘V’ mount battery adapter, the Coco-EX3-V. It has what appears to be 4 power outlets, for on board lights etc. (Sorry, my German translation is not so great). Looks like it will assist in better balance. Price is just under 300 Euro.
